What you send me

If you email or message me, the details you choose to share — such as your name, email address, and message — are sent to me so I can reply. You decide what to include; you are under no obligation to provide any of it.

Technical data

As with most websites, the hosting provider records standard request information such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. If you allow analytics (see below), Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity also record which pages you visit, roughly where you came from, and how you use the pages.

I use the information only to:

• Reply to messages and follow up on anything you ask about.
• Understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used so I can improve it.
• Keep the Site secure and working.

I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for advertising.

On your first visit, a banner asks whether I may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Neither loads until you press Allow. If you press Decline, neither runs at all.

With your permission, Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_* to tell visits apart. It counts page views, how you reached the Site, your approximate country and device type, and a few actions such as copying a prompt or clicking an email link. It is not used for advertising.

With your permission, Microsoft Clarity records how pages are used — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement — so I can see where a page is confusing, and sets cookies named _clck and _clsk to link the pages of one visit. Anything you type is masked before it leaves your browser. Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days and aggregated click data for 13 months.

The hosting provider, Cloudflare, also counts page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not identify you, so it runs without asking.

Your answer is kept for 180 days in a cookie named lz_consent, which holds only "granted" or "denied". It is shared by lazarev.cloud and ai-safety.lazarev.cloud, so you are asked once for both. You can change your mind at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer; declining after allowing deletes the Google Analytics and Clarity cookies.

A few third-party services are involved in running the Site:

• Messages you send me arrive by email or messaging apps (such as Telegram), operated by their own providers under their own privacy policies.
• If you allow analytics, the data is processed by Google and Microsoft under their own privacy policies.
• The Site is served by a hosting/CDN provider.

Links to external sites are not covered by this policy; please review their policies separately.

I keep messages you send only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and then delete them when they are no longer required.

Google Analytics keeps visit data for 2 months, then deletes it. Microsoft Clarity keeps recordings for 30 days and aggregated click data for 13 months.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you can ask me to access, correct, or delete any personal data you have sent me. Email me using the address below and I will take care of it.

This Site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent me such information, contact me and I will remove it.

I may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version; please check back occasionally.
